TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 25 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.
On September 25, 2010 TEDx was held in Yerevan for the first time. PanARMENIAN Photo was the only media partner of the event, and we captured all the speakers. Each of them was asked to write his or her word for TEDx. The result is presented below. We thank the organizers and participants for making one more impressive and bright event in our city.
